Balacing time to create and learn and work life

THE THOUGHT PROCESS IN MOTION

I Believe that Art is what ever you divide your time during the day, especially when you have to hold a day job, I don't believe this is a weakness, but a strength because for me, I have a theory that if you have less time during the day, because of work life, then its up to you to really make sure that you spend a little time  daily  with a list, of a to do items to complete,  that you can track, as we all can forget things, so having one comes in handy.

I studied Art and design at School level, then at University level I studied computer animation.
I was raised to see education as a way to do better for myself, and going through the years I've learned that's true, but once you leave the classroom and go into the big bad world, I've learned your learning should not  stop, if  you want move forward,  your learning has grow and give you a confidence day by day to take action rather than just waiting for an opportunity to come.

From working my nine to five for 3 years more or less, I've worked far away from where I live, and I wanted to make a good effort to get back into Animation, but when I started this job, I under estimated that the travel back and forth to work,it  took a lot out of me daily as in my travel to the north, but was always found the value of the long journey in some ways to medidate, when the trains not that busy, but this is the capital so fast paced is fast paced. So as soon as I opened the door coming back home, I would collapse on the bed and sleep, sometimes till the next morning.

so what I'm saying is its great to have goals, its great to set those examples you want to make, but your still a human not a machine, so as a person, you need to be logical and think what you can and can't do, and stick to a plan, this is what I'm trying to do, daily.

And yes its not easy, but its not meant to be easy because if it was easy there be no need to think how I can mentally use and product my time in a proactive way. So I came up with an Idea to sketch on the train, drawing passengers or anything I would see to improve my drawing and over time this happened, but it was tough in terms of finding confidence to do this, because yeh its not everyday you find people drawing on a train, but more so a challenge to complete before my train stop came.

I'd encourage you all to see my life drawing page and take a look how I started and how things progressed, I'll say as I am still on the day job, I have lost a lot of energy to draw so I'm still drawing just not as much as before, but I am taking the lessons out the life drawing I've done and Im putting those skills to make my Illustration and comics so here's the link

28/05/2017  to LIFE DRAWING IN MOTION

Hi all if anyone is reading this, I appreciate your time, I'm just sharing my thoughts, on just the progressing I love as a hobby which is drawing, now even in this digital aged world, we all have to work, I'm no different to this rule, but I realise that to truly be an independent self employed person, which is what I aim to be someday, as I work far away in the north of  London, where I am living in the south, you know your energy

can be so drained from all the travel one does to the day the job, and to find time for that hobby, its not I believe a question of something being you know tough, but how would you prepare to spend a little time everyday, by just spending 10 minutes, a day even, say if you were  add these 10 mins for week you get just over an hour, of activity where you could learn or do something that's productive to you.

For me I'm going to be be showing you a few drawings that I've down this this past week to a month, and from the beginning of year, I've struggled to really get back into the routine of art, but I'm gradually steadily coming to being more productive again, its just a process, I know, I can't just draw for the love of it, I got to really study what a business is and how to market myself as an Illustrator which is the real goal in mind.

So I could say from all the life drawing you've seen before in the above link, back then I was drawing yeah because I did love it and still do, but I wasn't learning anything more to network properly to present myself well, so these blogs are a diary for me to log and share, and hey if your reading this and you can take something from this blog then its a win win situation.

I hand make all my sketchbooks, out ordinary cartridge paper, I got this sketchbook maker, and there's something about making your own stuff and using there's an authentic feeling you can't buy, so when was back at University studying Animation 13 years ago,  a good mate of mine back then, told me he got a sketch book maker, and I wasn't that into it at first, but when I did buy one myself,

I just loved making sketchbooks, and I saved a lot of money, but I have bought  some sketchbooks from shops, but I don't always have to buy one,  all the time since I got a sketchbook maker now, that's a little broke since I've had for 13 years since University.

so let me show what I've done below, when I drawn hey leave a comment of you want that be cool so thanx for time again have a good week.
